21-Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 8

23- Section 1. Subsection (7) is added to section 483.801, 10
24-Florida Statutes, to read: 11
25- 483.801 Exemptions. —This part applies to all clinical 12
26-laboratories and clinical laboratory personnel within this 13
27-state, except: 14
28- (7) A registered nurse licensed under chapter 464 15
29-performing alternate -site testing within a hospital or a 16
30-hospital-based off-campus emergency department licensed under 17
31-chapter 395. 18
32- Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2022. 19
