Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 8

Section 1. Subsection (7) is added to section 483.801, 10
Florida Statutes, to read: 11
483.801 Exemptions. —This part applies to all clinical 12
laboratories and clinical laboratory personnel within this 13
state, except: 14
(7) A registered nurse licensed under chapter 464 15
performing alternate -site testing within a hospital or a 16
hospital-based off-campus emergency department licensed under 17
chapter 395. 18
Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2022. 19
