36 | 36 | | (a) Classroom teachers. —Classroom teachers are staff 23 |

37 | 37 | | members assigned the professional activity of instructing 24 |

38 | 38 | | students in courses in classroom situations, including basic 25 |

62 | 62 | | occupational opportunities, and personal and social adjustments; 37 |

65 | 65 | | classification are certified school counselors, social workers, 40 |

66 | 66 | | career specialists, and school psychologists. 41 |

67 | 67 | | (c) Librarians/media specialists. —Librarians/media 42 |
---|
68 | 68 | | specialists are staff members responsible for providing school 43 |
---|
69 | 69 | | library media services. These employe es are responsible for 44 |
---|
70 | 70 | | evaluating, selecting, organizing, and managing media and 45 |
---|
71 | 71 | | technology resources, equipment, and related systems; 46 |
---|
72 | 72 | | facilitating access to information resources beyond the school; 47 |

99 | 99 | | instructional process. Included in this classification are 62 |

100 | 100 | | classroom paraprofessionals in regular instruction, exceptional 63 |
---|
101 | 101 | | education paraprofessionals, career education paraprofessionals, 64 |
---|
102 | 102 | | adult education paraprofessionals, library paraprofessionals, 65 |
---|
103 | 103 | | physical education and playground paraprofessionals, and other 66 |
---|
104 | 104 | | school-level paraprofessionals. 67 |
---|
105 | 105 | | Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2022. 68 |
