| 22 | 22 | | Section 1. Notwithstanding ss. 791.001 and 791. 08, Florida 11 |

| 23 | 23 | | Statutes, the sale and use of fireworks within the Agricultural -12 |

| 24 | 24 | | Residential zoned area of the Town of Loxahatchee Groves are 13 |

| 25 | 25 | | prohibited on all days of the year except for the following: 14 |

| 26 | 26 | | (1) Supervised public displays within the Agricultural -15 |

| 27 | 27 | | Residential zoned area of the Town of Loxahatchee Groves , where 16 |

| 28 | 28 | | such displays are handled by a competent operator to be approved 17 |

| 29 | 29 | | by the chiefs of police and fire departments of the Town of 18 |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | Loxahatchee Groves and shall be of such a character, and so 19 |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | located, discharged, or fired as in the opinion of the chief of 20 |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | the fire department, after proper inspection, shall not be 21 |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | hazardous to property or endanger any person. Application for 22 |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | permits shall be made in writing at least 15 days in advance of 23 |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | the date of the display. After such permit is granted, sales, 24 |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | possession, use, and distribution of fireworks for such display 25 |
