23	23		taxing district to be known as Alligator Point Water Resources 12

1390	1390		authority as provided under its charter within the areas 989
1391	1391		described in section 1 of this act, includi ng levying ad valorem 990
1392	1392		taxes at a rate not to exceed 5 mills. 991
1393	1393		Section 3. This act shall take effect upon its approval by 992
1394	1394		a majority vote of those qualified electors within the areas 993
1395	1395		proposed to be added to the Alligator Point Water Resources 994
1396	1396		District as described in section 1 of this act voting in a 995
1397	1397		referendum held pursuant to this act on the referendum question 996
1398	1398		in section 2, except that this section and section 2 of this act 997
1399	1399		shall take effect upon becoming a law. 998
