| 27 | 27 | | (2) If a person who commits a burglary travels any 14 |

| 28 | 28 | | distance with the intent to commit the burglary in a county in 15 |

| 30 | 30 | | degree of the burglar y shall be reclassified to the next higher 17 |

| 31 | 31 | | degree if the purpose of the person's travel is to thwart law 18 |

| 32 | 32 | | enforcement attempts to track the items stolen in the burglary . 19 |

| 33 | 33 | | For purposes of sentencing under chapter 921 and determining 20 |

| 34 | 34 | | incentive gain-time eligibility under chapter 944, a burglary 21 |

| 35 | 35 | | that is reclassified under this section is ranked one level 22 |

| 36 | 36 | | above the ranking specified in s. 921.0022 or s. 921.0023 for 23 |
