Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 8

Section 1. Subsection (6) of section 768.381, Florida 10
Statutes, is amended to read: 11
768.381 COVID-19-related claims against health care 12
providers.— 13
(6) APPLICATION PERIOD. —This section applies to claims 14
that have accrued before the effective date of this act and 15
before June 1, 2023 within 1 year after the effective date of 16
this act. 17
Section 2. This act shall take effect upon becoming a law. 18
