2121 WHEREAS, on February 28, 1909, the first National Women 's 10

2323 WHEREAS, on June 26, 1945, the Charter of the United 12
2424 Nations was signed, marking the first affirmation of equality 13
2525 between women and men by international agreement, and 14
2626 WHEREAS, the United Nations celebrated International 15
2727 Women's Day for the first time on March 8, 1975, and 2 years 16
2828 later, declared a day for international peace and women's rights 17
2929 by resolution in the United Nations General Assembly, and 18
3030 WHEREAS, every year, approximately 12 million girls 19
3131 worldwide are married before they reach the age of 18, and 20

5252 Florida Legislature are women, including 40 Representatives and 31
