2020 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 7

2222 Section 1. Subsection (4) of section 893.145, Florida 9
2323 Statutes, is amended to read: 10
2424 893.145 "Drug paraphernalia" defined. —The term "drug 11
2525 paraphernalia" means all equipment, products, and materials of 12
2626 any kind which are used, intended for use, or designed for use 13
2727 in planting, propagating, cultivating, growing, harvesting, 14
2828 manufacturing, compounding, converting, producing, processi ng, 15
2929 preparing, testing, analyzing, packaging, repackaging, storing, 16
3030 containing, concealing, transporting, injecting, ingesting, 17
3131 inhaling, or otherwise introducing into the human body a 18
3232 controlled substance in violation of this chapter or s. 877.111. 19
3333 Drug paraphernalia is deemed to be contraband which shall be 20
3434 subject to civil forfeiture. The term includes, but is not 21
3535 limited to: 22
3636 (4) Testing equipment used, intended for use, or designed 23
3737 for use in identifying, or in analyzing the strength, 24
3838 effectiveness, or purity of, controlled substances , excluding 25

5555 Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2023. 30
