23	23	Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Flo rida: 10

25	25	Section 1. Subsection (2) of section 1002.55, Florida 12
26	26	Statutes, is amended to read: 13
27	27	1002.55 School-year prekindergarten program delivered by 14
28	28	private prekindergarten providers. — 15
29	29	(2) Each school-year prekindergarten program delivered by 16
30	30	a private prekindergarten provider must comprise at least 1,440 17
31	31	540 instructional hours. 18
32	32	Section 2. Paragraph (a) of subsection (2) of section 19
33	33	1002.61, Florida Statutes, is amended to read: 20
34	34	1002.61 Summer prekindergarten program delivered by public 21
35	35	schools and private prekindergarten providers. — 22
36	36	(2) Each summer prekindergarten program delivered by a 23
37	37	public school or private prekindergarten provider must: 24
38	38	(a) Comprise at least 480 300 instructional hours; 25
