25 | 25 | | Section 1. Findings of fact.—The Legislature finds that 12 |

26 | 26 | | the School Board of Hernando County adopted a resolution to 13 |
---|
27 | 27 | | change the position of the Hernando County Superintendent of 14 |
---|
28 | 28 | | Schools from an elected position to an appointed position and 15 |
---|
29 | 29 | | that such resolution was approved by the electorate during the 16 |
---|
30 | 30 | | March 10, 1992, presidential preference primary. 17 |

31 | 31 | | Section 2. Repeal of resolution. —Pursuant to Section 5, 18 |

32 | 32 | | Article IX of the State Constitution, the resolution described 19 |

33 | 33 | | in section 1 is repealed. The Hernando County Superintendent of 20 |

34 | 34 | | Schools shall be elected in a partisan election to a term of 4 21 |

35 | 35 | | years by vote of the qualified electors residing in Hernando 22 |
