3131 Section 1. Paragraph (c) of subsection (14) of section 18

9393 (b) As used in this subsection, the term: 56
9494 1. "Officer" means a chief executive officer, chief 57
9595 financial officer, chief operating officer, or any other 58
9696 position performing an equivalent function. 59
9797 2. "Remuneration" means all compensation earned by or 60
9898 awarded to personnel, whether paid or accrued, regardless of 61
9999 contingency, including bonuses, accrued paid time off, severance 62
100100 payments, incentive payments, contributions to a retirement 63
101101 plan, or in-kind payments, reimbursements, or allowances for 64
102102 moving expenses, vehicles and other transportation, telephone 65
103103 services, medical services, housing, and meals. 66
104104 3. "State funds" means funds paid from the General Revenue 67
105105 Fund or any state trust fund, funds all ocated by the Federal 68
106106 Government and distributed by the state, or funds appropriated 69
107107 by the state for distribution through any grant program. The 70
108108 term does not include funds used for the state Medicaid program. 71
109109 Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 2023. 72
