| 28 | 28 | | Section 1. Section 943.324, Florida Statutes, is created 15 |

| 35 | 35 | | processing and expediting of D NA samples as defined in, and in 22 |

| 36 | 36 | | support of the statewide DNA database under, s. 943.325. 23 |

| 37 | 37 | | (2) The department shall annually award to county jails or 24 |

| 38 | 38 | | sheriffs' offices any funds specifically appropriated for the 25 |
