23	23	Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 10

25	25	Section 1. Subsection (3) of section 265.111, Florida 12
26	26	Statutes, is amended to read: 13
27	27	265.111 Capitol Complex; monuments. — 14
28	28	(3) The Department of Management Services , in consultation 15
29	29	with the Florida Historical Commission, shall set aside and 16
30	30	dedicate the an area of the Capitol Complex described as 17
31	31	"Memorial Park" in s. 281.01 , not including the State Capital 18
32	32	Circle Office Complex, and dedicate a memorial garden on which 19
33	33	authorized monuments shall be placed , including. The memorial 20
34	34	garden must include a monument in remembrance of the 241 members 21
35	35	of the United States Armed Forces who lost their lives on 22
36	36	October 23, 1983, in Beirut, Lebanon. 23
37	37	Section 2. Subsection (1) of section 272.09, Florida 24
38	38	Statutes, is amended to read: 25

53	53	(1) For purposes of this section, the term "Capitol 28
54	54	Complex" means the portion of the Capitol Center commonly 29
55	55	referred to as the Capitol, the Historic Capitol, the Senate 30
56	56	Office Building, the House Office Building, the Knott B uilding, 31
57	57	the Pepper Building, the Holland Building, the Elliot Building, 32
58	58	the R.A. Gray Building, and the associated parking garages and 33
59	59	the curtilage of each, including the state -owned lands and 34
60	60	public streets adjacent thereto within an area bounded by and 35
61	61	including Calhoun Street, East Pensacola Street, Monroe Street, 36
62	62	Jefferson Street, West Pensacola Street, Martin Luther King Jr. 37
63	63	Boulevard Duval Street, and Gaines Street. The portion of the 38
64	64	Capitol Complex existing between and including the Elliot 39
65	65	Building and the Holland Building within an area bounded by and 40
66	66	including Monroe Street, Gaines Street, Calhoun Street, and East 41
67	67	Pensacola Street shall be known as "Memorial Park." 42
68	68	Section 3. Section 281.01, Florida Statutes, is amended to 43

70	70	281.01 Definitions.—For the purposes of ss. 281.01 -281.08, 45
71	71	the term "Capitol Complex" means includes that portion of 46
72	72	Tallahassee, Leon County, Florida, commonly referred to as the 47
