| 24 | 24 | Section 1. Notwithstanding any other law to the contrary, 11 | |
| 25 | 25 | a licensed not-for-profit corporation or organization that 12 | |
| 26 | 26 | delivers free health care services to the public may not be 13 | |
| 27 | 27 | required to request, either orally or in writing, the 14 | |
| 28 | 28 | citizenship, residency, alien, or immigration status of any 15 | |
| 29 | 29 | patient. 16 | |
| 30 | 30 | Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2024. 17 |
