care services; providing that certain licensed not -3
for-profit corporations and organizations are not 4
required to request the citizenship, residency, alien, 5
or immigration status of any patient; providing an 6
effective date. 7

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 9

Section 1. Notwithstanding any other law to the contrary, 11
a licensed not-for-profit corporation or organization that 12
delivers free health care services to the public may not be 13
required to request, either orally or in writing, the 14
citizenship, residency, alien, or immigration status of any 15
patient. 16
Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2024. 17
