Analysis and Government Accountability (OPPAGA) to 4
perform a study to determine the most effective means 5
of creating an online voter registration database with 6
certain capabilities; requiring OPPAGA to submit a 7
report to the Governor and the Legislature; providing 8
an effective date. 9

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 11

Section 1. The Office of Program Policy Analysis and 13
Government Accountability (OPPAGA) shall conduct a study to 14
determine the most effective means of creating an online voter 15
registration database that would al low a person who has been 16
disqualified from voting based on a felony conviction to verify 17
his or her voter registration status and determine whether he or 18
she has any remaining obligations that must be satisfied before 19
his or her voting rights are restored . Upon completion of the 20
study, OPPAGA shall submit the results of the study to the 21
Governor, the President of the Senate, and the Speaker of the 22
House of Representatives no later than December 1, 2024. 23
Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2024. 24
