| 28 | 28 | | Section 1. Section 1001.2921, Florida Statutes, is created 15 |

| 32 | 32 | | (1) As authorized by and consistent with funds 19 |

|---|
| 34 | 34 | | of Education shall establish a program to provide funds to make 21 |

| 35 | 35 | | full-time Jewish day schools and preschools in the state secure 22 |

| 36 | 36 | | with professional security hardening, as needed, to better 23 |
|---|
| 37 | 37 | | secure facilities of such schools and preschools and to protect 24 |
|---|
| 38 | 38 | | their students. Based on a risk assessment by law enforcement or 25 |

| 59 | 59 | | security exposure of staff, parents, and students. 34 |

| 60 | 60 | | (d) Other nonhardening security measures, including, but 35 |

| 61 | 61 | | not limited to providing professional detection, prevention, and 36 |
|---|
| 62 | 62 | | security services to such schools and preschools. 37 |

| 63 | 63 | | (2) The State Board of Education may adopt rules to 38 |
