An act relating to the Town of Sneads, Jackson County; 2
transferring real property from the Board of Trustees 3
of the Internal Improvement Trust Fund to the Town 4
Council of the Town of Sneads; providing requirements 5
for the use and the sale or disposition of the real 6
property; requiring conveyance of the real property by 7
a specified date; providing an effective date. 8

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the Sta te of Florida: 10

Section 1. The Board of Trustees of the Internal 12
Improvement Trust Fund shall convey to the Town Council of the 13
Town of Sneads, in fee simple, and for all uses as permitted by 14
law, the following described real property located in Jackso n 15
County and more particularly described as follows: 16

Commence at a nail and cap in the center of the Old 18
Spanish Trail marking the Southwest corner of Section 19
26, Township 4 North, Range 7 West, Jackson County, 20
Florida and thence run North 89 ⁰ 29" 00' East 25.25 21
feet to a point, thence North 00 ⁰ 51" 00' West 357.12 22
feet to a point, thence South 76 ⁰ 38" 23' East 51.58 23
feet to a concrete monument marking the intersection 24
of the Northerly right of way line of US Highway 90 25

Section 2. (1) The Town Council of the Town of Sneads 95
shall manage and protect the real property described in section 96
1, and use the property continuously for recreational means and 97
purposes. 98
(2) Any sale or disposition of the real property described 99
in section 1 by the Town Council of the Town of Sneads may 100

result in ownership of the property reverting back to the Board 101
of Trustees of the Internal Improvement Trust Fund on behalf of 102
the state. 103
Section 3. The Board of Trustees of the Internal 104
Improvement Trust Fund shall convey the real property described 105
in section 1 to the Town Council of the Town of Sneads within 90 106
days after the effective date of this act. 107
Section 4. This act shall take effect upon becoming a law. 108
