65-approved methods of instruction, the following: 40
66- (v)1. Beginning in the 2026 -2027 school year, the History 41
67-of Communism. Such instruction must be age appropriate and 42
68-developmentally appropriate and include: 43
69- a. The history of Communism in the United States and 44
70-domestic Communist movements, including their histories and 45
71-tactics. 46
72- b. Atrocities committed in foreign countries under the 47
73-guidance of Communism. 48
74- c. Comparative discussion of political ideologies, such as 49
75-Communism and totalitarianism, that conflict with the principles 50
51+ (2) Members of the instructional staff of the public 26

138+ (4) No later than July 1, 2025, the task force shall 89
139+submit a report of its findings and recommendations to the 90
140+Governor, the President of the Senate, the Speaker of the House 91
141+of Representatives, and the Department of Education. Upon 92
142+submission of the report, the task force shall expire. 93
143+ Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 2024. 94
