Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 8

Section 1. Paragraph (b) of subsection (1) of section 10
465.1865, Florida Statutes, is amended to read: 11
465.1865 Collaborative p harmacy practice for chronic 12
health conditions.— 13
(1) For purposes of this section, the term: 14
(b) "Chronic health condition" means: 15
1. Arthritis; 16
2. Asthma; 17
3. Chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases; 18
4. Type 2 diabetes; 19
5. Human immunodeficien cy virus or acquired immune 20
deficiency syndrome; 21
6. Obesity; or 22
7. Any other chronic condition adopted in rule by the 23
board, in consultation with the Board of Medicine and the Board 24
of Osteopathic Medicine , excluding heart failure, coronary heart 25

disease, and cardiac rhythm disorders . 26
Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2025. 27
