5151 311.104 Designation of no anchoring or mooring zones. — 26
5252 (1) Each seaport listed in s. 311.09(1) may designate no 27
5353 anchoring or mooring zones for uninsured boats anchored for more 28
5454 than 45 days in the waters surrounding the seaport as required 29
5555 in s. 327.4109 for all of the following purposes: 30
5656 (a) Implementing port security measures. 31
5757 (b) Ensuring freight and passe nger commerce is not 32
5858 impeded. 33
5959 (c) Promoting the safety and security of residents and 34
6060 visitors of this state. 35
6161 (d) Maintaining and protecting the flow of legitimate 36
6262 trade and travel at all times. 37
6363 (2) The boundary of any designated no anchoring or moori ng 38
64-zone may not exceed: 39
65- (a) Within the navigational harbor of the seaport, 1,250 40
66-feet from a navigation channel that provides entrance to the 41
67-harbor or from a pier or wharf adjacent to a navigation channel 42
68-or turning basin; or 43
69- (b) Beyond the navigational harbor of the seaport, 500 44
70-feet from a navigation channel that provides entrance to the 45
71-harbor. 46

73-The navigational harbor of the seaport includes navigation 48
74-channels, turning basins, navigation aids, and breakwaters and 49
75-jetties. 50
64+zone may not exceed 1,500 feet from a seaport entrance or pier 39

66+ (3) A seaport listed in s. 311.09(1) may apply, pursuant 41
67+to chapter 327, to the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission 42

88- (3) A seaport listed in s. 311.09(1) may apply, pursuant 51
