52- (12) ANAPHYLAXIS POLICY. — 27
53- (a) Each district school board shall ensure that for a 28
54-student with an emergency action plan, his or her emergency 29
55-action plan is effective at all times when he or she is on 30
56-campus, including during extracurricul ar activities, athletics, 31
57-school dances, and contracted before -school and after-school 32
58-programs at his or her school. Each district school board shall 33
59-ensure that each school within the district has provided 34
60-training to school personnel on preventing and r esponding to an 35
61-allergic reaction, including anaphylaxis, and that each before -36
62-school and after-school program at a school within the district 37
63-has provided such training to its employees and contracted 38
64-personnel. At least one member of the school personnel with such 39
65-training must be on school grounds to execute a student's 40
66-emergency action plan. The requirements for such training must 41
67-include training in the administration of emergency epinephrine, 42
68-including epinephrine autoinjectors and epinephrine nasal 43
69-sprays. 44
70- (b) The State Board of Education may adopt rules to 45
71-administer this subsection, including identifying an approved 46
72-training curriculum for the training required under this 47
73-subsection. 48
74- Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2025. 49
