2424 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 11

2626 Section 1. Section 381.992, Florida Statutes, is created 13
2727 to read: 14
2828 381.992 Sudden cardiac arrest informational posters. —The 15
2929 Department of Health shall create an informational poster 16
3030 relating to the treatment of sudden cardiac arrest. 17
3131 (1) The poster must: 18
3232 (a) List the signs and symptoms of sudden cardiac arrest. 19
3333 (b) Provide steps to take if a person goes into sudden 20
3434 cardiac arrest, including, but not limited to, the following: 21
3535 1. Call 911. 22
3636 2. Perform adult cardiopulmonary resuscitation. 23
3737 3. Use an automated external defibrillator, if applicable. 24
3838 (c) Be publicly displayed in an accessible area of a 25

5555 (a) "Business" means a trade or profession with a building 30
5656 having a building occupancy rating of 1,000 persons. 31
5757 (b) "State agency" means an entity of the legislative, 32
5858 executive, or judicial branch of state government. 33
5959 (3) The department may adopt rules to implement this 34

6161 Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2025. 36
