2626 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 13

2828 Section 1. Paragraphs (b) through (f) of subsection (1) of 15
2929 section 101.657, Florida Statutes, a re redesignated as 16
3030 paragraphs (c) through (g), respectively, and a new paragraph 17
3131 (b) is added to that subsection to read: 18

3535 pursuant to paragraph (a), the supervisor of ele ctions of a 22

5353 Section 2. Subsection (1) of section 101.71, Florida 28
5454 Statutes, is amended to read: 29
5555 101.71 Polling place. — 30
5656 (1)(a) There shall be in each precinct in each county one 31
5757 polling place which shall be accessible to the p ublic on 32
5858 election day and is managed by a board of inspectors and clerk 33
5959 of election. Only one elector shall be allowed to enter any 34
6060 voting booth at a time; no one except inspectors shall be 35
6161 allowed to speak to the elector while casting his or her vote; 36
6262 and no inspector shall speak to or interfere with the elector 37
6363 concerning his or her voting, except to perform the duties as 38
6464 such inspector. Notwithstanding any other provision of this 39
6565 chapter, this section shall be applicable where the computer 40
6666 method of voting is in use, and adequate provision shall be made 41
6767 for the privacy of the elector while casting his or her vote. 42
6868 (b) In addition to the polling places established in 43
6969 paragraph (a), there shall be established at least one polling 44
7070 place on any main campus of a Florida College System institution 45
7171 or a state university if such campus is located in the county. 46

8989 System must have an Office of Public Policy Events and must 52
9090 appoint a Director of Public Policy Events who is responsible 53
9191 for the duties and reporting responsibilities of the office. The 54
9292 office must, at a minimum: 55
9393 (e) Publicize the voting opportunities on campus 56
9494 established by ss. 101.657 and 101.71 through a thorough public 57
9595 awareness campaign including, at a minimum, notifying each 58
9696 student about such voting opportunities through regular and 59
9797 electronic mail, using social media to bring attention to such 60
9898 voting opportunities, and posting signage prominently throughout 61
9999 campus bringing attention to such voting opportunities. 62
100100 Section 4. This act shall take effect July 1, 2025. 63
