| 13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, the State of Georgia mourns the loss of one of its most distinguished citizens2 |

| 14 | 14 | | with the passing of Denese Lynetta Love on October 14, 2023; and3 |

| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Denese Lynetta Love was born on March 17, 1951, in metro Atlanta, Georgia,4 |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | a beloved daughter of James "JD" Desmond Love and Minnie Sibley; and5 |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, a woman of deep and abiding faith, Denese was an active and life-long member6 |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend S. A. Baker; and7 |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, through her courageous actions, she leaves behind a legacy of integrity and8 |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | unwavering commitment to justice as exemplified by her efforts to expose critical issues9 |

| 21 | 21 | | within her community, thereby inspiring meaningful change and increased transparency and10 |

| 23 | 23 | | WHEREAS, Denese gave inspiration to many through her high ideals, morals, and deep12 |
