| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Melanie Hammet has long been recognized by the citizens of this state for the3 |

| 15 | 15 | | vital role that she has played in leadership and her deep personal commitment to the welfare4 |

| 16 | 16 | | of the citizens of Pine Lake, Georgia; and5 |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, she has diligently and conscientiously devoted innumerable hours of her time,6 |

| 18 | 18 | | talents, and energy toward the betterment of her community and state, as evidenced by her7 |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | distinguished service as the mayor of Pine Lake; and8 |

| 20 | 20 | | WHEREAS, during her impressive tenure, she has played a pivotal role in creating9 |

| 21 | 21 | | innovative policies, programming, and initiatives, including the rewriting of local zoning for10 |

| 39 | 39 | | NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that25 |
