| 10 | 10 | | WHEREAS, the Atlanta Public Safety Training Center, located in DeKalb County, Georgia,3 |

| 11 | 11 | | will serve as a state-of-the-art training facility for law enforcement officers, firefighters, and4 |

| 12 | 12 | | other first responders, enabling them to better serve and protect the City of Atlanta, its5 |

| 13 | 13 | | citizens, and surrounding areas; and6 |

| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, since its inception, groups and individuals opposed to the construction of the7 |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | Atlanta Public Safety Training Center, most of whom reside out-of-state, have systematically8 |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | orchestrated a relentless campaign of violence, property damage, and domestic terrorism to9 |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | obstruct and intimidate the completion of the training center and those connected to it; and 10 |

| 18 | 18 | | WHEREAS, law enforcement on the state and local level continue to serve bravely and11 |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | diligently to secure the site of the Atlanta Public Safety Training Center and the surrounding12 |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | communities; and13 |

| 21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, the State of Georgia stands in support of the City of Atlanta, its continued14 |

| 22 | 22 | | dedication to strengthening public safety through the creation of the Atlanta Public Safety15 |
