66 Recognizing and commending Ms. Sandra Nadeau Wisenbaker for her dedicated service to

88 the citizens of the State of Georgia as the Solicitor-General of Coweta County; and for other2
99 purposes.3
1010 WHEREAS, Ms. Sandra Nadeau Wisenbaker was first elected by the citizens of Coweta4
1111 County as their Solicitor-General in November 2012 and she assumed that office on January5
1212 1, 2013; and6
1313 WHEREAS, she has provided professional experience and extensive service to the citizens7
1414 of Coweta County and the entire State of Georgia throughout her career as a prosecuting8
1515 attorney, which stretches more than two decades; and9
1616 WHEREAS, she has been recognized with numerous awards and honors throughout her10
1717 illustrious career, including being named "Solicitor-General of the Year" by the Georgia11
1818 Association of Solicitors General in 2019; and 12
1919 WHEREAS, the Prosecuting Attorneys' Council of Georgia in 2022 elected Ms. Wisenbaker13
2020 as one of only nine elected Georgia prosecuting attorneys eligible for service on that council14
2121 at any one time, where she has since performed with profound distinction; and15

2424 WHEREAS, Ms. Wisenbaker has devoted her time and talent to the safety of the citizens of

2626 her county and of the State of Georgia throughout her career by training Georgia law17
2727 enforcement officers and prosecutors; and18
2828 WHEREAS, she has earned a reputation across this state and the United States as a leader19
2929 in the field of prosecution such that her efforts and contributions to Georgia's public safety20
3030 are worthy of recognition; and21
3131 WHEREAS, Ms. Wisenbaker will be transitioning into a new role of leadership and service22
3232 within Coweta County beginning on January 1, 2024; and23
3333 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that this noteworthy and accomplished24
3434 Georgian be recognized and praised for her service to her county and to this state.25
3535 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body26
3636 recognize and commend Ms. Sandra Nadeau Wisenbaker for her 11 years of efficient,27
3737 effective, unselfish, and dedicated public service to Coweta County and to the State of28
3838 Georgia as well as extend to her their best wishes for continued success.29
3939 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed30
4040 to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Ms. Sandra31
4141 Nadeau Wisenbaker.32
