A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and commending Ms. Sandra Nadeau Wisenbaker for her dedicated service to

the citizens of the State of Georgia as the Solicitor-General of Coweta County; and for other2
purposes.3
WHEREAS, Ms. Sandra Nadeau Wisenbaker was first elected by the citizens of Coweta4
County as their Solicitor-General in November 2012 and she assumed that office on January5
1, 2013; and6
WHEREAS, she has provided professional experience and extensive service to the citizens7
of Coweta County and the entire State of Georgia throughout her career as a prosecuting8
attorney, which stretches more than two decades; and9
WHEREAS, she has been recognized with numerous awards and honors throughout her10
illustrious career, including being named "Solicitor-General of the Year" by the Georgia11
Association of Solicitors General in 2019; and 12
WHEREAS, the Prosecuting Attorneys' Council of Georgia in 2022 elected Ms. Wisenbaker13
as one of only nine elected Georgia prosecuting attorneys eligible for service on that council14
at any one time, where she has since performed with profound distinction; and15

WHEREAS, Ms. Wisenbaker has devoted her time and talent to the safety of the citizens of
16
her county and of the State of Georgia throughout her career by training Georgia law17
enforcement officers and prosecutors; and18
WHEREAS, she has earned a reputation across this state and the United States as a leader19
in the field of prosecution such that her efforts and contributions to Georgia's public safety20
are worthy of recognition; and21
WHEREAS, Ms. Wisenbaker will be transitioning into a new role of leadership and service22
within Coweta County beginning on January 1, 2024; and23
WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that this noteworthy and accomplished24
Georgian be recognized and praised for her service to her county and to this state.25
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body26
recognize and commend Ms. Sandra Nadeau Wisenbaker for her 11 years of efficient,27
effective, unselfish, and dedicated public service to Coweta County and to the State of28
Georgia as well as extend to her their best wishes for continued success.29
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed30
to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Ms. Sandra31
Nadeau Wisenbaker.32
