18	18		AN ACT
19	19		To amend an Act creating a new charter for the City of Suwanee, approved April 9, 1999

21	21		(Ga. L. 1999, p. 3729), as amended, particularly by an Act approved April 10, 2014 (Ga. L.2
22	22		2014, p. 3609), so as to change the corporate limits of said city; to repeal conflicting laws;3
23	23		and for other purposes.4
24	24		BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:5
25	25		SECTION 1.6
26	26		An Act creating a new charter for the City of Suwanee, approved April 9, 1999 (Ga. L. 1999,7
27	27		p. 3729), as amended, particularly by an Act approved April 10, 2014 (Ga. L. 2014, p. 3609),8
28	28		is amended by adding at the end of Section 1.11 a new subsection (e) to read as follows:9
29	29		"(e) Any other provisions of this section to the contrary notwithstanding, the following10
30	30		described property is included within the boundaries of the City of Suwanee:11
31	31		All that land contained within Land Lots 150, 151, 170, and 171 of the 7th District of12
32	32		Gwinnett County and more particularly described as follows: (POB) Starting in Land Lot13
33	33		151 of the 7th District in Gwinnett County at the southwest corner of the intersection of14
34	34		Old Peachtree Road and Horizon Drive and then proceeding in a north easterly direction15
35		-	along the western right of way line for Horizon Drive a distance of approximately 5,11716 23 LC 47 2429~~/AP~~

38	38		feet to the northwest corner of the intersection of Old Peachtree Road and Horizon drive,

40	40		located in Land Lot 150 of the 7th District in Gwinnett County, and then turning west on18
41	41		Old Peachtree Road and proceeding along the northern right of way line for Old19
42	42		Peachtree Road for a distance of approximately 5,946 feet to the southwest corner of the20
43	43		intersection Old Peachtree Road and Horizon Drive in Land Lot 151 of the 7th District21
44	44		in Gwinnett County and the POB, which includes certain land that is already contained22
45	45		within the municipal boundary of the City of Suwanee, and includes parcels identified by23
46	46		the Gwinnett County Tax Assessors Office as R7151 046, R151 047, R7151 038, R715124
47	47		039, R7150 019, R7150 189, R7151 002, R7151 003, and R7151 004, as of March 9,25
48	48		2023;26
49	49		And:27
50	50		All that land contained within Land Lot 152 of the 7th District of Gwinnett County and28
51	51		more particularly described as follows: (POB) Starting in Land Lot 152 of the 7th District29
52	52		in Gwinnett County at the southwest corner of the intersection of Old Peachtree Road and30
53	53		Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road and then proceeding in a south westerly direction along the31
54	54		western right of way line for Old Peachtree Road for a distance of approximately 1,43032
55	55		feet to the northwest corner of the intersection of Old Peachtree Road and Celebration33
56	56		Connector and then continuing in a south westerly direction on Old Peachtree Road along34
57	57		the northern right of way line for Old Peachtree Road for a distance of approximately 89835
58	58		feet to the northwest corner of the intersection Old Peachtree Road and McGinnis Ferry36
59	59		Road and then turning and proceeding in a north westerly direction along McGinnis Ferry37
60	60		Road for a distance of approximately 499 feet to the northwest corner of the intersection38
61	61		of Old Peachtree Road and Celebration Drive and then turning and proceeding in a north39
62	62		easterly direction along the western right of way line for Celebration Drive for a distance40
63	63		of approximately 2,384 feet to the southwest corner of the intersection of41
64	64		Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road and Celebration Drive and then turning and proceeding in42

72	72		parcels identified by the Gwinnett County Tax Assessors Office as R7152 182, R152 171,47
73	73		R7152 170, R7152 177, R7152 173, and R7152 184, as of March 9, 2023;48

75	75		All that land contained within Land Lot 152 of the 7th District of Gwinnett County and50
76	76		more particularly described in the Final Plat for "JC Retail" dated September 9, 2007 and51
77	77		filed and recorded with the Superior Court Clerk for Gwinnett County, Georgia on July52
78	78		2, 2008 located in Plat Book 124, page 89 which includes certain land that is already53
79	79		contained within the municipal boundary of the City of Suwanee, and includes the parcel54
80	80		identified by the Gwinnett County Tax Assessors Office as R7152 040, as of March 9,55
81	81		2023;56

83	83		All that land contained within Land Lot 152 of the 7th District of Gwinnett County and58
84	84		more particularly described in the As Built Survey and Lot Split for "Ingles Markets,59
85	85		Inc." filed and recorded with the Superior Court Clerk's Office for Gwinnett County,60
86	86		Georgia on March 6, 1990 located in Book 50, page 207, and includes the parcel61
87	87		identified by the Gwinnett County Tax Assessors Office as R7152 058, as of March 9,62
88	88		2023."63
89	89		SECTION 2.64
90	90		All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.65
