| 17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, Command Sergeant Major Brandon B. Rudder has valiantly and courageously6 |

| 18 | 18 | | served as a guardian of this nation's freedom and liberty with the United States Army since7 |

| 19 | 19 | | entering service on May 3, 2003; and8 |

| 20 | 20 | | WHEREAS, CSM Rudder, a native of Columbus, Ohio, began his distinguished military9 |

| 21 | 21 | | career with One Station Unit Training at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, and has since served in10 |

| 22 | 22 | | numerous capacities such as forward observer, company and battalion fire support NCO,11 |

| 23 | 23 | | regimental targeting NCO, and joint terminal attack controller (JTAC); and12 |

| 24 | 24 | | WHEREAS, CSM Rudder's leadership roles have extended to JTAC13 |

| 25 | 25 | | instructor/examiner/program manager, platoon sergeant, first sergeant, division fires14 |

| 26 | 26 | | operations sergeant major, and battalion command sergeant major; and15 |

| 38 | 38 | | with his receipt of the Order of Saint Barbara, signify his exceptional service and dedication24 |
