15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Georgia Links Day At The Capitol is part of the Southern Area Legislative and6 |

16 | 16 | | public affairs priorities, which are considered through a lens of diversity, equity, and7 |

17 | 17 | | inclusion; and8 |

18 | 18 | | WHEREAS, The Links, Incorporated is uniquely position to leverage the collective strength,9 |

19 | 19 | | resources, and energy of its members to ensure the public policies considered are reflective10 |

21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, The Links, Incorporated is an international not-for-profit corporation that was12 |

29 | 29 | | effectively enforce and fund legislation to close the gap in Black maternal health, mental17 |
---|
30 | 30 | | health, and HBCU land grant funding; and18 |

31 | 31 | | WHEREAS, Georgia Links Day At The Capitol is not only a southern area initiative but has19 |

32 | 32 | | spread throughout the organization. The well anticipated event has expanded to not only20 |

33 | 33 | | engage and empower but to educate as well. It is an opportunity for members to gather from21 |

34 | 34 | | around the state to advocate in one voice and to have the rallying call of legislative priorities22 |

39 | 39 | | WHEREAS, three members of the Georgia General Assembly, Representative Inga Willis,27 |
