1014 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:6

1216 Part 2 of Article 9 of Chapter 3 of Title 20 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated,8
1317 relating to funding, donations, property, and scholarships with respect to the Georgia Military9
1418 College, is amended by revising Code Section 20-3-560, relating to legislative intent, as 10
1519 follows:11

17-(a) It is the intention of the General Assembly that the Georgia Military College be a13
18-state-wide institution dedicated to providing a high-quality military education to the youth14

2326 Such education shall not be beyond the level of the second year of postsecondary study,17
24-except for any of the following bachelor Bachelor of Applied Science degree programs:18
25-(1) Bachelor of Applied Science;19
26-(2) Bachelor of Business Administration;20
27-(3) Bachelor of Science in Communications;21
28-(4) Bachelor of Science in Computer Science;22
29-(5) Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice;23
30-(6) Bachelor of Science in Education;24
31-(7) Bachelor of Arts in General Studies;25
32-(8) Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration;26
33-(9) Bachelor of Science in Psychology; and27
34-(10) Bachelor of Science in Public Health,28
35-which assist graduates of institutions under the Technical College System of Georgia in the29
36-attainment of a four-year bachelor's degree; provided, however, that no branch of the Georgia30
37-Military College shall offer any Bachelor of Applied Science degree program that is31
38-currently being offered by an institution of the Board of Regents of the University System32
39-of Georgia which is located in the same county as such branch; offered only to students33
40-enrolled in the Georgia Military Global Online Leadership College (GOLC), provided,34
41-further, that the level of such educational programs shall be subject to the availability of35
42-funds appropriated by the General Assembly. The student enrollment of the college shall36
43-reflect as closely as possible the racial and demographic makeup of the state.37
44-(b) The Georgia Military College shall submit by September 30, 2024, and each38
45-September 1 thereafter a report to the Office of Planning and Budget, the House Committee39
46-on Higher Education, and the Senate Higher Education Committee. Such report shall40
47-describe the successes and failures of all bachelor degree programs at the Georgia Military41
48-College to the extent of detail that the leadership of such college determines is reasonably42

51-necessary. Such report shall be based on the immediately prior fiscal, academic, or43
52-calendar year based on the discretion of such college."44
53-SECTION 2.45
54-All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.46
