| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, PAGE was founded in the 1970s with the mission to make Georgia a better6 |

| 15 | 15 | | place for students to learn and for teachers to teach; and7 |

| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, the PAGE Foundation sponsors the Academic Bowl for middle grades, the8 |

| 17 | 17 | | Georgia Academic Decathlon for high school students, and the Student and Teacher9 |

| 18 | 18 | | Achievement Recognition (STAR) program; and10 |

| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, PAGE has promoted teaching as a profession by sponsoring local chapters of11 |

| 21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, PAGE provides legal protection and professional learning to enhance13 |
