1515 A RESOLUTION
1616 Recognizing and commending Dr. Jung Ha Kim and the Community Resource Corporation;

1818 and for other purposes.2
1919 WHEREAS, Dr. Jung Ha Kim has dedicated more than three decades to academia and3
2020 nonprofit leadership, specializing in community education, program development,4
2121 curriculum design, research, and advocacy; and5
2222 WHEREAS, she is the founder and president of the Community Resource Corporation6
2323 (CRC), a nonprofit organization committed to addressing racial and gender disparities in7
2424 immigrant and refugee communities; and8
2525 WHEREAS, the CRC has played a pivotal role in fostering community partnerships,9
2626 collaborating with organizations such as the Lucky Shoals Community Association to10
2727 develop dementia respite care programs and working with the Fielding School of Public11
2828 Health at UCLA on the BRAVE study; and12
2929 WHEREAS, the CRC has further led efforts to promote cultural heritage and representation13
3030 by supporting events such as the AAPI Cultural Heritage Festival in Suwanee and organizing14
3131 Korean cultural performances at Georgia State University; and15

3434 WHEREAS, her extensive experience in nonprofit management includes serving as CEO and

3636 President of the Center for Pan Asian Community Services Inc. (CPACS), where she17
3737 oversaw a budget expansion from $11 million to $14 million and contributed to over 2018
3838 published articles, interviews, and documentaries highlighting community projects; and19
3939 WHEREAS, Dr. Jung Ha Kim has long been an advocate for social justice and equity,20
4040 serving on national mentoring committees, securing grants to address intimate partner21
4141 violence in immigrant communities, and working to improve data collection on Asian22
4242 American health and well-being; and23
4343 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that this distinguished leader be appropriately24
4444 honored during this special time.25
4545 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that26
4646 the members of this body recognize and commend Dr. Jung Ha Kim for her invaluable27
4747 contributions to community engagement, research, and nonprofit leadership as well as extend28
4848 best wishes for continued success.29
4949 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized30
5050 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Dr.31
