A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and commending Dr. Jung Ha Kim and the Community Resource Corporation;

and for other purposes.2
WHEREAS, Dr. Jung Ha Kim has dedicated more than three decades to academia and3
nonprofit leadership, specializing in community education, program development,4
curriculum design, research, and advocacy; and5
WHEREAS, she is the founder and president of the Community Resource Corporation6
(CRC), a nonprofit organization committed to addressing racial and gender disparities in7
immigrant and refugee communities; and8
WHEREAS, the CRC has played a pivotal role in fostering community partnerships,9
collaborating with organizations such as the Lucky Shoals Community Association to10
develop dementia respite care programs and working with the Fielding School of Public11
Health at UCLA on the BRAVE study; and12
WHEREAS, the CRC has further led efforts to promote cultural heritage and representation13
by supporting events such as the AAPI Cultural Heritage Festival in Suwanee and organizing14
Korean cultural performances at Georgia State University; and15

WHEREAS, her extensive experience in nonprofit management includes serving as CEO and
16
President of the Center for Pan Asian Community Services Inc. (CPACS), where she17
oversaw a budget expansion from $11 million to $14 million and contributed to over 2018
published articles, interviews, and documentaries highlighting community projects; and19
WHEREAS, Dr. Jung Ha Kim has long been an advocate for social justice and equity,20
serving on national mentoring committees, securing grants to address intimate partner21
violence in immigrant communities, and working to improve data collection on Asian22
American health and well-being; and23
WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that this distinguished leader be appropriately24
honored during this special time.25
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that26
the members of this body recognize and commend Dr. Jung Ha Kim for her invaluable27
contributions to community engagement, research, and nonprofit leadership as well as extend28
best wishes for continued success.29
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized30
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Dr.31
Jung Ha Kim.32
