| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, in recognition of her outstanding contributions to the Rockdale community,5 |

| 13 | 13 | | Evetta B. Washington has been selected as a recipient of the Women on Purpose award6 |

| 14 | 14 | | during Rockdale County's Women's History Month celebration; and7 |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, she is a charter and legacy life member of the Rockdale-Newton Section of the8 |

| 16 | 16 | | National Council of Negro Women (NCNW) Inc., where she currently serves as president9 |

| 17 | 17 | | and has previously held the positions of first vice president and chair of the Scholarship10 |

| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, in addition to her work with NCNW, Evetta B. Washington has been an active12 |
