| 21 | 21 | | and relationships with decision-makers at all levels of government to influence public policy5 |

| 22 | 22 | | and support clients throughout Georgia and beyond; and6 |

| 23 | 23 | | WHEREAS, he is the founding principal of Mathews & Maxwell Inc., a respected7 |

| 24 | 24 | | governmental affairs consulting firm he co-founded in 1997 that has twice been named the8 |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | most effective small governmental affairs firm in Georgia by James Magazine; and9 |

| 26 | 26 | | WHEREAS, during his tenure at Mathews & Maxwell, he has led the development of short-10 |

| 27 | 27 | | and long-term strategies to help clients achieve success in legislative, procurement, and11 |

| 28 | 28 | | regulatory matters, representing sectors such as agribusiness, construction, healthcare,12 |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | manufacturing, transportation, and state procurement; and13 |

| 30 | 30 | | WHEREAS, his consulting work has involved drafting policy papers, managing issue14 |

| 45 | 45 | | WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this26 |

| 47 | 47 | | NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that28 |
