A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and commending the Georgia Council of Court Administrators for its dedication

to advancing court administration and enhancing the efficiency of judicial systems2
throughout the State of Georgia; and for other purposes.3
WHEREAS, the Georgia Council of Court Administrators (GCCA) was established in 19974
to promote the professional development of court administrators and ensure excellence in5
judicial administration across the State of Georgia; and6
WHEREAS, GCCA is dedicated to providing training, resources, and professional7
development opportunities to its members, enabling them to serve the courts and the citizens8
of Georgia more effectively; and9
WHEREAS, the council is recognized for its unwavering commitment to fostering10
collaboration among court professionals, justice partners, and stakeholders to address11
challenges and implement innovative solutions in judicial administration; and12
WHEREAS, GCCA plays a pivotal role in offering educational programs based on the13
National Association for Court Management (NACM) Core Competencies, equipping court14

administrators with the knowledge and skills necessary to meet the evolving needs of the
15
judiciary; and16
WHEREAS, the council has been instrumental in developing leadership within the courts by17
organizing conferences, workshops, and training sessions as well as by promoting best18
practices to enhance the efficiency and accessibility of Georgia's judicial system; and19
WHEREAS, the dedication of GCCA's leadership and members to the principles of fairness,20
professionalism, and innovation has significantly contributed to the improvement of court21
operations in Georgia; and22
WHEREAS, GCCA has provided valuable support and guidance to court professionals in23
adapting to challenges, including the integration of technology and the implementation of24
remote court services during unprecedented times; and25
WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that this distinguished organization and its26
members be appropriately recognized for their outstanding contributions to the judicial27
system in Georgia.28
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body29
recognize and commend the Georgia Council of Court Administrators for its exemplary30
service and dedication to the administration of justice as well as extend their most sincere31
best wishes for continued success.32
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed33
to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the Georgia34
Council of Court Administrators.35
