| 12 | 12 | | Article I of the Constitution is amended by repealing Section IV in its entirety and enacting6 |

| 19 | 19 | | biological sex, who are of sound mind, who have no living spouse from a previously12 |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | undissolved marriage, and who are not related to their prospective spouse by blood or13 |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | marriage within the prohibited degrees.14 |

| 24 | 24 | | (b) This state shall give effect to any public act, record, or judicial proceeding of any15 |

| 25 | 25 | | other state or jurisdiction respecting a relationship between interracial persons or persons16 |

| 26 | 26 | | of the same gender or biological sex that is treated as a marriage under the laws of such17 |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | other state or jurisdiction. The courts of this state shall have jurisdiction to grant a divorce18 |

| 28 | 28 | | or separate maintenance and to consider or rule on any of the parties' respective rights19 |

| 29 | 29 | | arising from interracial or same-sex marriage unions."20 |
