9 | 9 | | with the passing of Paul Zucca on October 31, 2024; and3 |

10 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Paul Zucca was a dedicated advocate for Grant Park and Southeast Atlanta who4 |

11 | 11 | | served on numerous committees, boards, and organizations at the city, county, and state5 |
---|
12 | 12 | | levels to improve the community; and6 |

13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, after moving from Midtown, he served as president of the Grant Park7 |

14 | 14 | | Neighborhood Association and later as chairman of Neighborhood Planning Unit-W, helping8 |

15 | 15 | | to strengthen bonds among East Atlanta, SAND, and Grant Park while securing resources9 |
---|
16 | 16 | | to support local growth; and10 |

17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, he was an early supporter of the Neighborhood Charter School and the Atlanta11 |

18 | 18 | | Charter Middle School before their merger, believing that all children deserved access to12 |

27 | 27 | | WHEREAS, he gave inspiration to many through his high ideals, morals, and deep concern18 |

28 | 28 | | for his fellow citizens, and the devotion, patience, and understanding he demonstrated to his19 |

30 | 30 | | WHEREAS, he was a person of magnanimous strengths with an unimpeachable reputation21 |
