| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Catherine Duncan has been teaching eighth grade math to Sugar Hill students3 |

| 10 | 10 | | at Lanier Middle School in Gwinnett County for seven years and has 10 years of teaching4 |

| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, she is a highly respected eighth grade teacher within the school community and6 |

| 13 | 13 | | among her peers and has been recognized as Lanier Middle School's Teacher of the Year for7 |

| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, she has spent endless hours both inside and outside the classroom teaching9 |

| 27 | 27 | | WHEREAS, in recognition of such remarkable contributions to the education and welfare18 |

| 28 | 28 | | of Georgia's students, it is abundantly fitting and proper for this body to honor the19 |

| 29 | 29 | | extraordinary accomplishments and academic achievements of this outstanding educator.20 |
