| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Scott Justus was born on February 24, 1959, in Hendersonville, North Carolina,4 |

| 10 | 10 | | a beloved son of James Charles and Roberta Griffin Justus; and5 |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | WHEREAS, he was an accomplished entrepreneur who devoted more than 30 years to the6 |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | construction industry, building countless quality homes and serving as a member of the7 |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | National Association of Home Builders, the Home Builders Association of Georgia, and the8 |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | West Georgia Board of Realtors; and9 |

| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, a man of deep and abiding faith, Scott Justus was an active member of Villa10 |

| 22 | 22 | | grandchildren, Grady and Madeline; and14 |

| 23 | 23 | | WHEREAS, he gave inspiration to many through his high ideals, morals, and deep concern15 |

| 24 | 24 | | for his fellow citizens, and the devotion, patience, and understanding he demonstrated to his16 |

| 25 | 25 | | family and friends were admired by others; and17 |

| 26 | 26 | | WHEREAS, he was a person of magnanimous strengths with an unimpeachable reputation18 |

| 27 | 27 | | for integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness, and by the example he made of his life, he19 |

| 28 | 28 | | made this world a better place in which to live; and20 |

| 29 | 29 | | WHEREAS, a compassionate and generous man, Scott Justus will long be remembered for21 |

| 30 | 30 | | his love of family, friendship, and community and will be missed by all who had the great22 |

| 32 | 32 | | NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body24 |
