11 | 11 | requirements of ratification by three-fourths of the states; and6 | |
12 | 12 | WHEREAS, if all states ratified such amendment, it would serve as a show of support7 | |
13 | 13 | nationwide for the Equal Rights Amendment.8 | |
14 | 14 | NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body9 | |
15 | 15 | encourage the remaining states to ratify the Equal Rights Amendment as the Twenty-eighth10 | |
16 | 16 | Amendment to the Constitution of the United States and commend those states which have11 | |
