| 7 | 7 | | WHEREAS, Katie Bagosy has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to supporting2 |

| 8 | 8 | | veterans and advancing mental health initiatives, guided by her deep-rooted ties to the3 |

| 9 | 9 | | military as the daughter of two Navy veterans; and4 |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | WHEREAS, her late husband, Tom, honorably served as a guardian of this nation's freedom5 |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | and liberty with the United States Marine Corps at Camp Lejeune, courageously and6 |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | valiantly protecting his fellow Americans during deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan; and7 |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, she has been a steadfast advocate for veterans during her years of service with8 |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | the Mental Health Council in Forsyth County, and she serves as the Outreach Coordinator9 |

| 15 | 15 | | at AboutFace-USA, a distinguished nonprofit organization dedicated to providing vital10 |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | support and resources to veterans; and11 |

| 17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, this remarkable gentlewoman has given inspiration to many through her high12 |

| 18 | 18 | | ideals, morals, and deep concern for her fellow citizens, and she possesses the vast wisdom13 |

| 19 | 19 | | which only comes through experience and the strength of character which is achieved14 |

| 28 | 28 | | NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body20 |
