A RESOLUTION
Honoring Lawrence A. Reeves Jr. for his service and leadership; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, Lawrence A. Reeves Jr. honorably served in the United States Air Force from2
1964 to 1968, earning an honorable discharge and carrying forward the values of duty,3
integrity, and leadership throughout his life; and4
WHEREAS, as a service-disabled veteran, he has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to5
empowering fellow veterans, notably through his leadership at Aldridge Services Inc., where6
he positioned the firm as a viable service-disabled veteran-owned small business in7
environmental consulting and geotechnical engineering; and8
WHEREAS, his distinguished career spans decades of executive leadership, business9
development, and public service, including roles as President of R&D Environmental10
Consultants and Director of Business Development at Tri-Tech Associates, where he played11
a pivotal role in shaping economic opportunities and environmental initiatives; and12
WHEREAS, his dedication to uplifting communities is evident in his extensive ministry13
work, serving as Pastor of Trinity Fellowship Ministries and Outreach Pastor at Cascade14

United Methodist Church, where he provided spiritual guidance and tangible resources to

those in need, particularly the homeless and underserved populations; and16
WHEREAS, his contributions extend to education, having served as an instructor at Atlanta17
Metropolitan College, where he shaped the minds of future leaders in business, management,18
and administration; and19
WHEREAS, his service has been recognized through numerous awards, including the Office20
of Workforce Development's Outstanding Support and Service Award and his appointment21
to the Fulton County Private Industry Council Board, among others, demonstrating his22
lasting impact on workforce development, minority business advancement, and community23
empowerment.24
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body25
honor and commend Lawrence A. Reeves Jr. for his unwavering dedication to service both26
in uniform and beyond, his exemplary leadership in business and ministry, and his lifelong27
commitment to fostering economic opportunity and social progress for all.28
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed29
to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Lawrence A.30
Reeves Jr.31
