1111 1 AN ACT concerning State government.
1212 2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
1313 3 represented in the General Assembly:
1414 4 Section 5. The Department of Public Health Powers and
1515 5 Duties Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is
1616 6 amended by adding Section 2310-438 as follows:
1717 7 (20 ILCS 2310/2310-438 new)
1818 8 Sec. 2310-438. Women's health clinics. The Department
1919 9 shall establish women's health clinics throughout the State to
2020 10 provide affordable health care for women. The services
2121 11 provided at the women's health clinics shall be offered at an
2222 12 affordable price and shall include, but not be limited to, the
2323 13 following:
2424 14 (1) annual women's health examinations, including Pap
2525 15 tests and breast examinations;
2626 16 (2) pregnancy confirmation services;
2727 17 (3) prenatal care, including ultrasound examinations;
2828 18 (4) labor and delivery services provided by an
2929 19 obstetrician;
3030 20 (5) postpartum care and support;
3131 21 (6) family planning examinations and birth control
3232 22 services;
3333 23 (7) examinations, care, and prescriptions for sexually
