SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $5,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to
the Department of Human Services for the purpose of making a
grant to Laureus Sport for Good Foundation USA for program and
operating expenses for youth development -based sports
initiatives. Effective July 1, 2023.

AN ACT concerning appropriations. 1
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented 2
in the General Assembly: 3
Section 5. The sum of $5,000,000, or so much of that amount 4
as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue 5
Fund to the Department of Human Services for the purpose of 6
making a grant to Laureus Sport for Good Foundation USA for 7
program and op erating expenses for youth development -based 8
sports initiatives. 9
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 10
2023. 11
