1 AN ACT concerning education.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The University of Illinois Act is amended by
5 adding Section 180 as follows:
6 (110 ILCS 305/180 new)
7 Sec. 180. Free parking for adjunct professors and
8 part-time or non-tenure track faculty members. The Board of
9 Trustees shall provide an adjunct professor or part-time or
10 non-tenure track faculty member hired to teach a class on
11 campus during an academic term with free campus parking or
12 full reimbursement for the cost of campus parking for that
13 academic term.
14 Section 10. The Southern Illinois University Management
15 Act is amended by adding Section 155 as follows:
16 (110 ILCS 520/155 new)
17 Sec. 155. Free parking for adjunct professors and
18 part-time or non-tenure track faculty members. The Board shall
19 provide an adjunct professor or part-time or non-tenure track
20 faculty member hired to teach a class on campus during an
21 academic term with free campus parking or full reimbursement

8 faculty member hired to teach a class on campus during an

10 for the cost of campus parking for that academic term.

12 by adding Section 10-270 as follows:
